Pedestrian bridge across the Provo River in Heber -- part of a greater Heber Creeper Railway running trail project. The project will include:
Geotechnical drilling on both sides of the river - students can help plan and log borings.
lab testing on soil samples obtained from the drilling provide recommendations for bridge foundations provide recommendations/design for bridge abutments.
Structural provide recommendations for type of bridge to be used design footings for the bridge.
