We need to analyze the feasibility and design two roundabouts on Main Street in Mapleton. The ideal situation would avoid the need for Right-of-Way procurement. Engineering specialties required are data collection, traffic analysis, roundabout modeling, future growth projections, roundabout design, drainage design, public outreach, and animation/videography. Desired outcome and deliverables will include existing conditions memo, future traffic projections memo, 3 alternative conceptual designs for each intersection, 1 final design for each intersection, bid documents including standards and specifications for advertising, and a public information package including animations/videos showing the new intersection designs.
