Assessment of traffic impacts and road conditions for classification based on AASHTO road criteria. Evaluate optimal road treatment options based on assessed road conditions. Prepare costs of treatment options and total cost of projects. From the costs evaluation recommend a road assessment fee that could be adopted by the City. It’s anticipated that the roads can be assessed using the most recent aerial imagery from AGRC or other providers. The specialties could include transportation, geotechnical, GIS, Cost estimating, and others as determined necessary. Paragraph description of the desired outcome/deliverables of the project (i.e. conceptual design, drawings, cost estimates, etc.) The City has limited funds for road maintenance and typically has used crack sealing as the preferred maintenance treatment. The City would like to better understand what treatment should be used based on the conditions of the roads, evaluate the costs of these treatments, and determine an assessment fee that could be used annually to maintain the City roads with the preferred treatment. The final project could include road mapping, typical detail construction drawings of the recommended treatment options, and a preliminary design report outlining the project approach, information produced, and recommendations.
