Lehi City Water Reclamation

Timpanogos Special Service District discharges about 20 mgd of treated sewage water into Utah lake. The district's 40-year master plan includes installation of a tertiary filter that would allow effluent water to be reused as secondary water. Lehi is interested in the beneficial use of that water. The biggest challenge is how to get the water into the city's system. The team will work with Lehi and TSSD staff to engineer possible booster stations, pipelines and connections to the city's pressurized irrigation system. Desired deliverable is a conceptual design, including booster stations, estimated water volumes, transmission pipe size and location, easement challenges, etc.
